Homelessness is a national problem needing local solutions to tackle its causes and consequences.
Every night in Urban Cities like Lagos, hundreds of vulnerable people sleep in squalid conditions; on the street, in abandoned cars, derelict buildings, under the bridges, concealed entrances and in the markets.
Touch A Life seek out those individuals and work to transform their lives by offering advice, support and practical help. We render help in partnership with other volunteers and donors, both individuals and corporate.
Providing temporary accommodation remains our most important priority. We also help qualified persons to address the cause of their homelessness and work towards helping them find a more permanent accommodation and employment so that homelessness does not become a vicious cycle in their lives.
Our Program provides a real long-term solution to homelessness in Nigeria, enabling people to get off the streets, find safe accommodation, regain self esteem and independence and hopefully give back to society.
